Minecraft: 2D edition
A downloadable game for Windows
What if Minecraft was a 2D game?
In short terms, this is basically a clone of Minecraft using 2D assets and platformer mechanics.
It has:
- 225 blocks to be placed and breaked
- Two layers (background and foreground)
- Save/load world data
- Resource Pack support through messing up with game files
- Ridiculously fast performance (a world with 200k blocks can run fine at fixed 60FPS using an Intel Celeron with no lag spikes, actual hardware tested)
- Lots of fun :D
